Change For The Better is the story of the decision to change New Zealand’s silver coinage and how this was implemented. We track the process as it happened, from the time the Reserve Bank made the decision, the minting of the new coins in Winnipeg and their distribution, the collection of the old coinage and their final journey to Korea where they end their life as molten metal.
