Dirty Creature

Short Film (1995)

The lines between fantasy and reality become blurred as a young girl and her mangy mutt ‘Monster’ embark on a wild day of adventure. Captured trying to steal a small golden statue from the garden of a grumpy old man, rescue for little Daphne comes in the form of a violent and unexpected twist of imagination.

A quirky theatrical short, Dirty Creature is directed by Grant Campbell, and co-written by Campbell and Frances Walsh (Braindead, Heavenly Creatures, The Frighteners, and The Lord of the Rings). The film is co-produced by Wingnut Films and Top Shelf Productions.

FESTIVALS: Melbourne and Sydney Film Festivals, Vila do Condo Short Film Festival (Portugal), Festival Molodist (Ukraine), Hamburg Film Festival, and Toronto World-wide Short Film Festival.
